This event marked our debut in the public sphere, where we showcased and sold our exquisite olive oil. Though we had participated in a few local farmers markets prior to this, none had ever spanned an entire day or attracted such a large crowd. As the day progressed, we were inundated with an overwhelming wave of enthusiasm and support from both locals and visitors, all eager to sample Hawaii's inaugural commercially produced extra-virgin olive oil. It was incredibly gratifying to witness the immense demand, as we nearly sold out of our entire inventory. The reactions and expressions on our customers' faces upon discovering that our olive oil was freshly pressed, straight from our Kula mill, were always a delight to behold.
